Ihmir Smith-Marsette got a little too excited after scoring a touchdown and injured himself in the process.
On Saturday, the Iowa wide receiver scored a 53-yard touchdown to give the Hawkeyes a 21-7 lead over Wisconsin. While crossing the end zone Smith-Marsette thought it would be fun to flip into the end zone.

Unfortunately for Smith-Marsette he landed awkwardly and injured him so badly that he had to leave the game to put on a walking boot.
Oh boy, Ihmir Smith-Marsette has a lapse in judgment and celebrated his way into the end zone by doing a front flip that injured his leg. He’ll use this as a learning experience and ya won’t see it happen again. Wishing you a speedy recovery @_ihmirr_ #iowafootball #Hawkeye pic.twitter.com/PJNjdhpFhx
