Isaiah Thomas just got traded to the LA Lakers this afternoon and it seems like his camp are already making demands.
Immediately after the Cavs-Lakers trade, Thomas’s agent told ESPN’s Rachel Nichols that IT was not coming off the bench for the Lakers despite the team already having a starting point guard in Lonzo Ball and prefers to get bought out by the team.
As of now the Lakers aren’t really committing to starting Isaiah Thomas over Lonzo.

Lonzo is our starting point guard. And that hasn’t changed,” Magic said when asked how him and IT will fit together. “It’s not about starting, it’s about minutes and he’s gonna get a lot of minutes”

Lakers do not plan on buying out Isaiah Thomas, Walton said.
Thomas is expected to play the rest of the season with Lakers before becoming an unrestricted free agent this summer.
The inevitable Isaiah Thomas-LaVar Ball war of words is going to be amazing.
