Ja Morant is a freak. The fourth-year product out of Murray State is one of the most athletic players ever to touch a basketball.

He’s improved every year he’s been in the NBA after being the 2nd overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft. This year, he’s averaging 27 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds a game for the Western Conference-leading Grizzlies.

His style of play leads to some awesome highlights, too. He attacks the rim with abandon, and his vertical leap allows him to make highlight plays on the defensive end.

Look at this block from a few days ago against the Los Angeles Lakers.

And, here are some ridiculous dunks at the expense of Jacob Poeltl.

And, on Saturday, he had two highlight plays that were out of this world.

Ja Morant had a highlight dunk and block on Saturday

The Grizzlies took on the Indiana Pacers on Saturday. Basketball-crazy Indiana is a great place to play some good basketball, and Morant did just that.

Midway through the third quarter, Ja Morant decided to turn Jalen Smith into a poster.

Holy cow. That is an unreal dunk. Here are some more angles on the ferocious slam.

And, this came on the heels of this insane block earlier in the quarter.

That’s a different level of athleticism than what mere mortals like you and I have.

The Grizzlies won, 130-112.
