Jake Paul has heard all the jokes about him only fighting washed-up MMA fighters and wants to take a huge step forward for his next fight.

According to his management team, Bavafa Sports, Jake has asked to fight former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

While Chavez Jr. recently lost to former UFC star Anderson Silva, JCC Jr. would be a huge step up in competition for the 5-0 Paul.

Chavez Jr. seems into the idea of fighting Jake Paul and has been reposting stories about a potential fight on his Instagram page.

Paul’s management team has been extremely thoughtful about who he fights and will probably not have him fight a legit pro boxer like JCC Jr. this early in his boxing career, but if the fight did go down, it would undoubtedly do huge numbers on PPV.
