Jalen Hurts’ agent is calling out the naysayers who doubt the star quarterback’s MVP status. She posted a simple message online to those doubters after the Eagles’ most recent defeat.

While the former Heisman winner is putting up video game numbers in the 2022 season, many around the NFL are saying it’s more system than player. Nicole Lynn is asking if they still believe that with Philly’s second straight loss.

Hurts has been on the sidelines in those last two matchups as Philadelphia fell to Dallas and New Orleans. The passer is recovering from an injury in hopes of getting back to full strength before the playoffs.

While in the lineup, the Eagles are 13-1. Without him, the team is 0-2 and in danger of losing the NFC’s top overall playoff seed.

Jalen Hurts has put up fantastic numbers to this point making him the MVP favorite as the final week nears. Through those 14 starts, he’s thrown for 3,472 yards and 22 touchdowns. He’s added 13 rushing scores to lead all NFL quarterbacks.

Still, many believed that any player could put those stats up in a loaded Philly offense. That includes Cowboys defender Micah Parsons, who was heard doubting Hurts ahead of their most recent rivalry matchup.

But the offense has taken a significant step back with backup Gardner Minshew under center. That was never more apparent than in the Eagles’ most recent loss to the Saints on Sunday. In that setback, the Philadelphia offense totaled just 10 points and 11 first downs. A crucial pick six in the fourth quarter all but ended the team’s chances for a win.

After the game, Jalen Hurts’ agent took to Twitter to take a jab at those doubters.

“Someone told me it was the system.”

The quip was a direct shot at those that have put Hurts’ accomplishments down, and she truly believes he’s been the league’s most talented signal caller in 2022. Hopefully the team can get their star passer back in the lineup soon as Jalen Hurts and the Eagles look to make a Super Bowl run.
