Jalon Daniels wowed fans at Big XII media days with a diamond chain that played his personal highlight reel. The Kansas quarterback donned the necklace during his media appearance on Wednesday.

College football followers have been quick to comment about the unique piece of jewelry on social media.

Daniels was one of the best players in the country last season, helping the Jayhawks get off to a perfect 5-0 start to the year. In those five appearances under center, the passer threw for 983 yards with 11 touchdowns and just one interception.

He also added 335 yards and another five scores on the ground to help the Jayhawks crack the top 20 in the rankings.

Unfortunately, a shoulder injury derailed his dream season. In a matchup with national runner-up TCU, Daniels was removed from action late in the second quarter. Kansas would lose the game, 38-31.

Daniels missed the next month of the year, returning for a contest with Texas. The dual-threat signal caller averaged 199 yards through the air in his two final regular season games.

He then exploded for his best performance of the year in Kansas’s bowl game against SEC power Arkansas, throwing for 544 yards and five touchdowns.

Now, he’s back for his junior season, hoping to build on the production from a year ago.

He’s already turning heads at Big XII media days with a diamond chain that replays his past highlights.

Fans were blown away by the necklace as they posted reactions to the accessory.

“Drip level: elite,” the Kansas football account posted.

One Jayhawks supporter wrote, “This is so insanely fire.”

This fan commented, “Jalon Daniels Heisman campaign loading,” upon seeing the unique chain.

Daniels has been tabbed as the conference’s preseason Offensive Player of the Year. Hopefully, the quarterback is able to have another stellar season in Lawrence. If so, Kansas could make some noise in the Big XII.
