If you weren’t tuned in to the Ole Miss vs. Florida State Seminoles football game in primetime last night then you missed one of the most lopsided games in history. During the first half of the game every single possible thing that could go wrong for the Seminoles did. They made mistakes you wouldn’t even expect a JUCO player to make. The #1 Running Back in the nation, Dalvin Cook, somehow dropped the football as he sauntered into the end zone without pressure and cost his team 4 points. At one point in the game the #4 ranked Seminoles were down by 22-points…Then things changed in a hurry.
The ‘Noles went to the locker room where former FSU quarterback and Heisman winner Jameis Winston gave a speech that got the team jacked the fuck up. This footage was captured because the Seminoles are appearing on Showtime’s A Season With which premieres tonight, it’s basically a Hard Knocks for college football.
As an FSU alum I think I shaved an entire year off my life last night. If you go through my Twitter timeline starting at kickoff you’ll see I was one of the most irate and disgruntled fans on the planet. Then Jameis gave his speech and my team woke the fuck up and went on to dominate the shit out of Ole Miss in the second half, eventually securing the win as the largest comeback win in FSU’s entire program history.
