James Harden Had His Jersey Retired… At A Houston Strip Club

Within 10 or so years, James Harden will have his Houston Rockets jersey retired in the rafters of the Toyota Center or whatever the arena will be named by then. However, Harden apparently already has his jersey retired at a Houston strip club because of his extremely generous tipping. After signing the second richest contract in NBA history earlier this offseason, it appears that James Harden certainly has a vested interest in the futures of America’s young women.

During a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Mal, a friend of rapper Joe Budden, revealed that Harden has his jersey retired at “one of the more popular” skrip clubs in H-Town because of all of the money he throws down there. “They (were) doing that because they said James just be going in there spending like … you know what I mean,” Mal said. “So they gave him his own jersey hanging from the rafters of the strip club.” Starting at the 21-minute mark of the podcast they discuss Harden’s penchant for skrip clubs.

On ESPN’s Jalen & Jacoby show, Jalen Rose revealed his experience at gentlemen’s clubs during his playing days and he too thought he could have had his jersey retired at a strip club.

Now that he signed a four-year, $228 million extension with the Rockets, the strip club might build a bronze statue of him as tribute.

Special dedication to James Harden.
