On Wednesday, James Harrison, Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers were all exonerated by the NFL in their investigation into the reports in an Al Jazeera America documentary.
Harrison, for his part, was very pissed off about the whole process, calling Roger Goodell a “crook” and wanting to have his league interview for the case broadcast live.
So, never being one to be shy, Harrison dropped this little burn on the NFL and the media, saying, “It’s only breaking news cause you thought I was guilty. I have my father’s name and I have WORKED for EVERYTHING I have since DAY ONE. #putsomerespekwhenyoumentionmyname.”

Respek to whoever took the time to put THAT together, I’ll give him that.
In fairness, since his brief retirement in 2014 Harrison has been an absolute beast both on and off the field. His exploits in the weight room have boggled the mind and he hasn’t been shy about sharing them on social media.
Naturally, things like that these days tend to be looked at with a bit of a side-eye, but at least as far as the Al Jazeera America report goes, we now know that Harrison is clean.
