Janoris Jenkins Reacts To Getting Cut By NY Giants For Calling Fan A Slur On Twitter, Team Trolls Him During Practice

The NY Giants have cut ties with cornerback Janoris Jenkins after he used a slur while firing back at a fan on social media.

Ny Giants coach Pat Shurmur released a statement on why the team decided to release Jenkins.

On Wednesday, Jenkins called a fan on Twitter a “retard” during a back and forth exchange and then went on to defend his use of the slur by saying that it’s just something he used “in the hood back at home”. .

“Where I’m from, we use all kind of words for slang. If it offends anybody I’m sorry,”. “It’s a culture that I grew up in where I’m from. You know what I’m saying, we use all kinds of words for all kinds of slang. If you don’t know, it’s a hood thing or whatever.

“I’m not calling nobody no name or picking at nobody. It’s just something that we use in the hood back at home.”

After Jenkins was cut by the Giants he took to Twitter to celebrate.

Update: The team trolled Jenkins by playing “Let it go” at practice.
