Since being selected by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Jarrett Stidham has had a rather interesting NFL career.

The Patriots obviously had high hopes for Stidham as a possible replacement for Tom Brady, signing him to a four-year deal worth $3.15 million despite being the 133rd overall pick.

Unfortunately, when Brady left New England after Stidham’s rookie year, the Patriots signed Cam Newton.

After looking unimpressive in five games in 2021, all in relief, Jarrett Stidham did not play in the 2021 season after having back surgery during the off-season.

In 2022, Stidham was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, reuniting with head coach Josh McDaniels.

He finally got the first two starts of his career (both losses) when the Raiders benched Derek Carr and he left the team. In his first start, he threw for 365 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. Stidham’s wife Kennedy went viral during that game because cameras kept panning to her.

Stidham’s second start didn’t go quite as well with just 219 yards passing, one TD and a pick.

That, however, was good enough for the Denver Broncos to sign him to a two-year, $10 million deal with $5 million guaranteed this week.

One person who appeared rather excited about Jarrett getting to back up Russell Wilson in Denver next season is Stidham’s wife Kennedy.

On her Instagram stories, Kennedy Stidham posted an image about the news with the caption, “denver here we come!!” She also shared another image of two hearts in the blue and orange colors of the Broncos.

She probably can’t wait to hang out with Ciara.

Jarrett and Kennedy Stidham actually met while the quarterback was at Baylor in 2015.

He ended up transferring to Auburn, despite a great freshman year averaging 11.6 yards per attempt with 12 touchdowns and just two interceptions. The reason for the move was reportedly because of the sexual assault scandal at Baylor.

Kennedy, the daughter of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment CEO Tad Brown, lists herself as a Baylor soccer alum on her Instagram profile where she recently shared several off-season vacation pics.
