For their first ‘New Heights’ episode following Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl win, the Kelce Bros had a LOT to talk about including everything from Travis bumping Andy Reid to how Jason missed Usher’s Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show because Shaq and everyone else on earth was desperate to meet Taylor Swift.

When Travis asked Jason about Usher’s Super Bowl Halftime Show and what he thought, Jason Kelce admitted he didn’t see any of it. He then explains why and how it was the first time he really got a glimpse of Taylor Swift‘s star power.

Jason talks about how the Super Bowl has every famous person on Earth there and every single one of those people were desperate to meet Taylor Swift. Kelce says their suite is only so big, there’s only so many bodies that can fit in there. Shaq is also the size of about three men but he did manage to get to the suite and meet Taylor Swift during halftime, an introduction that cost Jason Kelce the chance to see Usher. He doesn’t seem too beat up about it though.

Jason Kelce: “To be honest, I didn’t watch it. There was so happening in the suite… Turns out, everybody wants to meet Taylor. Shaq came on in the suite. I mean, dude…”

“I think it was my first (time) really understanding kind of some of the things that she has to deal with on a lot of bases. Because there are so many star-studded people there where it’s like ‘dude, everybody wants to come see her’ but the suite is only so big. And it was overwhelming to be honest with you. It was very overwhelming.”

“I was going outside the suite. I was talking to Keegan Michael-Key, his wife, and a bunch of people. And it was like the celebrity attendance at the game was pretty unreal.”

The great thing about these brothers is that it goes without saying, but Jason Kelce would deal with that ‘overwhelming’ attention 365 days a year for his brother because that’s who his brother is in love with and brothers support brothers, that’s what they do.
