Jason Kelce is officially retired from the NFL as of March 4th but the everyday employees at the Eagles’ Novacare Complex wouldn’t seem to know that because according to Jason, his life hasn’t changed one bit since he retired.

On the latest episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce (Presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment), Travis and Jason caught up on the past week or so. Travis told his brother about the trip to Singapore and Australia to see Taylor Swift perform and then Travis asked Jason about how he’s adjusting to retirement.

According to Jason, life is ‘zero different’ from before. Jason Kelce said he’s still been going to the Eagles Novacare Complex daily to lift weights. Calling himself a ‘creature of habit’.

Not content to leave it at ‘nothing’s changed,’ Jason kept talking about how easy the transition into retirement has been for him. Saying “I feel no different” but added that he assumes “once organized team activities (OTAs) start up and especially once training camp and the season start rolling around it’ll really start to hit a little bit more.”

Jason Kelce’s Had a LOT of missed messages in retirement

Jason has also desperately been trying to catch up on text messages since announcing his retirement. He said “my phone had over a thousand missed text messages” that he had to go through one by one and respond to… Do normal people even have a thousand contacts in their phone?

Getting back to 1,000 people who texted you seems like a complete and utter nightmare.

But for now, life is good for Jason Kelce. He recently got to jump through a flaming table after missing the opportunity in Buffalo. Jason was honored by the Cleveland Cavaliers alongside his brother Travis.

Life has been pretty, pretty good for Jason Kelce since he retired, both unofficially and officially. Good for him, he’s one of the all-time greats.
