NY Giants QB Jaxson Dart has addressed his teammates about his appearance at a Trump rally.

Last week, Dart shook hands with the President and introduced Trump at a rally in New York.

“What an honor. What a privilege it is to be here. And without further ado, I grateful, I’m honored. I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump.”

One of Dart’s teammates, Abdul Carter, appeared to take issue with his QB being at the Trump rally.

According to a report by NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Dart spoke to his teammates about attending the rally.

Giants QB Jaxson Dart addressed teammates in a meeting yesterday to discuss his introduction of President Trump last week, sources tell me and
@RapSheet Other team leaders spoke up as well, and Dart and the players worked through it. They are moving forward.

Giants leaders such as Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Jameis Winston all spoke and worked to put it behind them.

Dart has faced backlash in the media over his appearance at the Trump rally, and was even called a “racist” by the View’s Joy Behar.

“For somebody to back a guy like Trump who’s history and discrimination and racism goes back to housing discrimination in the 70s and DEI attacks and posting pictures of the Obamas as apes.”

“When [Dart’s] on a team that’s 55% to 60% of the NFL… of black guys. That is just the definition of stupidity and racism.”

“Maybe he needs a little extra padding.”
