Jayden Daniels’ Mom Goes Viral For Accompanying QB To Brandon Aiyuk’s Wedding

Jayden Daniels was one of a number of NFL stars to attend Brandon Aiyuk’s wedding over the weekend. He went particularly viral due to his plus-one.

Daniels’ mom was also in attendance as seen in a now-viral video posted to social media. Fans weren’t surprised to see her there!

Regina Jackson made waves during her son’s rookie season in an appearance on The Money Game on Amazon Prime. That documentary detailed the college lives of a number of LSU athletes in the 2023-24 season.

Daniels won the Heisman that year before becoming a first-round NFL Draft pick. His mom made sure that nothing interfered on his path to success.

“Some girl out there, she’s got a Jayden Daniels wall, and her mama says, ‘Hey honey, you’re going to be the one to get him,'” Jackson said. “I know that sounds crazy, but I guarantee there’s someone trying to get their hooks into Jayden Daniels, so thank God he’s got a mama like me.”

Jackson wouldn’t let a woman derail his journey to the top. To this point, it’s worked out. She’s continued to protect Daniels after his Rookie of the Year campaign.

In March, she was spotted sitting in between her son and USC star basketball player Juju Watkins during the NCAA Tournament. That interaction raised immediate questions. Fans believe she was looking out for scheming suitors this past weekend, too.

Jayden Daniels’ mom was at Brandon Aiyuk’s wedding.

She was seen in the background of a video of her son on the dance floor. Social media users immediately reacted.

“Why is his mom there?” one follower asked. “Is he not allowed to be anywhere without her?” inquired another.

There’s likely a reason for her presence, and it has little to do with over-protectiveness. Jayden Daniels and Brandon Aiyuk are college buddies!

The two played together at Arizona State before Aiyuk went pro. They’ve remained close since. In fact, the wideout’s called Daniels his “dream teammate.” Aiyuk also gave him a call amid his then-souring relationship with the San Francisco 49ers.

The duo has known each other for years. Their families have likely crossed paths at some point or another. It shouldn’t have been a surprise to see Regina Jackson at the wedding. Those unfamiliar with the friendship were caught off guard.

With that said, no one expects Jackson to stop protecting her son. They’ll soon look ahead to Year 2 in Washington following a star-studded debut.
