Jazz Chisholm’s night ended early in Sunday’s finale between the Yankees and Red Sox thanks to a sixth inning ejection. Ump cam caught the infielder’s interaction with the home plate official up close and personal.

During a sixth inning at-bat, Chisholm checked his swing on a pitch in the dirt. The man behind the dish ruled it a swinging strike, which ended the inning.

Chisholm disagreed with the ruling. He believes the umpire should’ve asked for help from a crew member. It was close, but replay appears to confirm the call was made correctly. The bat broke the plane ever-so-slightly.

Chisholm was dumbfounded by the ruling, and he let the blue hear about it. It did not change the umpire’s mind. Instead, it earned the second baseman a quick trip to the clubhouse.

Fans believe Chisholm seeks attention. He got it on Sunday. With their leadoff hitter out of the lineup for the final three innings, the Yankees fell to their rival in walk off fashion, 5-4.
