Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy roasted former teammate Phillip Lindsay in brutal fashion after the latter chimed in about the Broncos’ matchup against the Chicago Bears.
In the midst of Sunday’s Broncos-Bears game, in which the Broncos ultimately won by a score of 31-28, former Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay fired off a tweet that was critical of Denver’s wide receivers.
“Where are the receivers!! All that money out there to be no-shows?” Lindsay tweeted.
Following the win, Jeudy obviously caught wind of Lindsay’s tweet and decided to respond. Not only did Jeudy respond, however, but he absolutely roasted Lindsay by pointing out the fact that the 29-year-old tailback is no longer employed by the National Football League.

In the win against the Bears, Jeudy — drafted out of the University of Alabama with the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft — had three catches for 52 yards.
As for the 29-year-old Lindsay — who is a Denver native — he was signed as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Colorado by the Denver Broncos following the 2018 draft and played with the team until 2020.
He then would go on to spend 2021 and 2022 with the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, and Indianapolis Colts before ultimately winding up with the Seattle Sea Dragons in the XFl, which is his current team.
During the course of his four-year-long NFL career, Lindsay carried the ball 637 times for 2848 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also reeled in 87 catches for 529 yards and another two touchdowns.
As for Jeudy, since making it to the NFL in 2020, the 24-year-old has played in 41 games while catching 157 passes for 2,295 yards and nine touchdowns.
This weekend, the Broncos will be taking on Zach Wilson and the New York Jets, who are also 1-3, in what is a must-win matchup for both AFC teams.
