In the weeks (months even) leading up to the Aaron Rodgers trade, the New York Jets went out of their way to acquire former coaches and players of the Green Bay Packers.
Well, it’s still happening well after the conclusion of the trade.
According to Adam Schefter, the Jets are signing veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb to rejoin Aaron Rodgers once again.
A reunion: Former Packers’ WR Randall Cobb is expected to agree to a one-year deal with the New York Jets, allowing him to play with Aaron Rodgers in NY, per sources. The two men who walked off the field together in Green Bay now get to do more work to do together. pic.twitter.com/WoBpBbDweK

Remember when Rodgers basically strong-armed the Packers into re-signing Cobb? It appears he may have done it again with the Jets, but New York seemed more open to the idea.
But it begs the question. Who is actually running the show in New York? Fans seem convinced this latest signing proves Aaron Rodgers is the real general manager of the Jets.

Make it make sense.
Signing the same offense that ranked outside the Top15…. Makes sense for the Jets pic.twitter.com/mXGPfr7mop

It’s Aaron Rodgers’ world and we’re just living in it.
That's a great strategy by the Jets. Add as many Packers that missed the Playoffs last season to help you make the Playoffs this season.

Someone should make this a poll question.
Who's the better GM, Aaron Rodgers, or LeBron James? Only time will tell…

Aaron Rodgers very clearly likes having his guys around him which is why Randall Cobb is almost always around.
We may actually see these two retire together in New York. Wouldn’t that be something?
