The Michigan Wolverines are currently under investigation by both the NCAA and the Big Ten for allegations of widespread sign stealing.

But Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh appears to remain nonplussed by the whole situation.

Harbaugh was in good spirits on Monday when he met with members of the media for his weekly press conference.

Jim Harbaugh And Ric Flair Hang Out Amid Cheating Allegations

“My energy level was already sky high,” he told media in attendance. “But then I got a visit from the Nature Boy Ric Flair, a very close friend, and that just brought the enthusiasm to a new level.”

Flair later posted a picture of encounter.

This, of course, led to everyone joking about Flair’s reputation as the “dirtiest player in the game” during his pro wrestling career.

Flair, for those who are unaware, was a notorious cheater throughout his days as a pro wrestling superstar.

If my team was being accused of cheating, I would simply not hang out with someone known as The Dirtiest Player in the Game,” @IAmHectorDiaz tweeted.

Jim Harbaugh and a pro wrestler long famous for adhering to the rules,” wrote @ChrisVannini of The Athletic.

Gotta give credit where it’s due, being under investigation for the biggest cheating scandal in college sports history and doing photo ops with the man known as ‘The Dirtiest Player In The Game’ is some spectacular stuff” said @Conley76.

Harbaugh maintains his innocence. And it appears the university is ready and willing to have his back.

““The best course of action, the one far more likely to ascertain the facts, is to await the results of the NCAA investigation,” University of Michigan president Santa Ono recently wrote in a leaked email to Big 10 commissioner Tony Petitti. “But if you refuse to let the NCAA investigative process play out, the Big10 may not take any action against the University or its players or coaches without commencing its own investigation and offering us the opportunity to provide our position. That is not just required by our conference rules; it is a matter of basic fairness.”

Next thing you know Harbaugh and company are going to bring in members of the NWO to get the team fired up.
