  • The Cincinnati Bengals are headed to the franchise’s first Super Bowl since 1989.
  • The AFC Champions are led by quarterback Joe Burrow, who’s only been in the NFL for two years.
  • Already at the pinnacle of the sport, Burrow recently gave some advice to the young athletes of the world.

If there’s one thing that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has become known for during his brief two-year career, it’s his sense of calm and cool.

That swagger certainly isn’t an act, either, as the 25-year-old signal-caller has proven that his laid-back demeanor is legitimate time and time again. As a result of Burrow’s personality, the former Heisman Trophy winner isn’t one for boasting on social media, which is something he suggests up-and-coming athletes emulate in their pursuit of greatness.

“Focus on getting better,” Burrow said in a recent interview when asked to give advice to young athletes. “Don’t have a workout and post it on Instagram the next day and then go sit on your butt the next day and everyone thinks you’re working hard but you’re not. Work in silence. Don’t show anyone what you’re doing. Let your performance on Friday nights and Saturday nights and Sunday nights show all the hard work you put in. Don’t worry about all that social media stuff.”

Given that Burrow has reached the Super Bowl in just his second season,  the young, aspiring athletes of the world would do well to heed his advice.

Burrow and the underdog Cincinnati Bengals will take on Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, February 13.

The Rams, who became champions of the NFC following playoff victories over the Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Bucs, and San Francisco 49ers, are currently favored by four points. The Bengals, on the other hand, were crowned AFC Champions and punched their ticket to Super Bowl LVI following wins over the Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans, and Kansas City Chiefs.
