Joe Burrow had a lot to laugh about following Sunday’s 27-24 overtime upset of Super Bowl favorite Kansas City. The second-year passer threw for 250 yards and a pair of scores to lead his team back from an 18-point first half deficit. The win gives the Bengals their first Super Bowl appearance since 1988.

Burrow’s confidence is evident both on and off the field. He’s been known for wearing extravagant pregame outfits, taking the internet by storm throughout this playoff run.

That was no different on Sunday, with the quarterback rocking a solid black turtleneck and custom made “JB9” diamond chain.

In the postgame press conference, Burrow was asked whether or not the necklace was real, which led to an all-time response from the young star.

“They’re definitely real. I make too much money to have fake ones,” Burrow quipped back to the reporter’s inquiry.

He’s not lying, either. Burrow, who’s is in the second year of his rookie contract, has reportedly made over $26 million to this point. This upcoming Super Bowl appearance is sure to unlock some incentives, too, as he continues to maximize his potential in the NFL.

Burrow has to have saved his best outfit for last in this postseason run. We’ll all be watching for the pregame get up when Super Bowl Sunday rolls around. Whatever he decides to don, we no longer have to doubt its authenticity.
