During the call of Game 2 of the American League Championship Series between the home team Toronto Blue Jays and visiting Seattle Mariners, announcers Joe Davis and John Smoltz partook in some Canadian Thanksgiving celebrations by carving up a turkey on-air. That turkey, however, may have been a bit undercooked.
After the game — which the Seattle Mariners won by a score of 10-3 to take a 2-0 series lead — the MLB on Fox crew of Kevin Burkhardt, Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz and Derek Jeter expressed some concern for Davis and Smoltz due to the pinkish hue of the festive bird.

“That turkey looks a little pink to me,” Burkhardt joked during the postgame show. “Joe Davis, best of luck. You did a great job with the game, I just hope the tum tum is okay in a couple of hours, boy.”
"He may need some Pepto-Bismol!" 😅

The Mariners will now take a 2-0 lead back to Seattle in the best-of-seven ALCS, needing just two more wins to reach their first ever World Series appearance, as they are currently the only franchise in Major League Baseball to have never reached the Fall Classic.
