The New York Jets have an elite quarterback on the roster again with Joe Flacco making his return to the franchise.
Flacco signed a one-year contract with the Jets worth $3.5 million on Wednesday as he’s set to play his 15th season in the NFL.
All in all, it’s a solid move by the Jets bringing Flacco back into the fold to be the No. 2 QB behind Zach Wilson for the second consecutive season. The 37-year-old played in two games a season ago, starting one, throwing three touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Flacco started four games for the Jets in 2020 as well but went 0-4 in those games throwing six touchdowns and three picks.
