John Cena, gave part-time wrestling star Logan Paul his flowers following his big win over veteran A.J. Styles Sunday night at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. The now 17-time world champion obviously hold no grudges against the YouTuber for making it big in his line of work in such a short period of time.
“Logan Paul’s a stud,” John Cena told Pat McAfee on Monday. “I texted him right away after his match and I’m like, ‘dude, you are innovative,’ from his entrance to holding a drone to thinking on another level like I’m going to swing big and try something different. I thought that was dope. And then his performance, he’s doing stuff that I couldn’t do at peak physical condition. So regardless of if you like him or you hate him, he’s doing athletic moves that are as good or better as any of the ‘wrestlers’ out there, any of the trained wrestlers.”

“And here’s what I like most about Logan Paul: he doesn’t give two sh—- if ya’ll like him or not,” Cena continued. “He does it as himself and he’s okay. Like, yo, this dude is a stud. There’s going to come a time when ya’ll wake up to Logan Paul. This dude, he got here late. That shouldn’t be a penalty for him. He is a WWE superstar, he belongs in that ring with everybody else. And I know he’s always going to be himself, but whether you boo him or not, you are going to pay to see that kid because he is unreal.”
John Cena also made another revelation during his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday. He got hair-plugs because fans made fun of him.
“I listen to you idiots, I do. You have to take the ones from the side and plug them in on top. It just takes a while to come in. It’s coming in. Hopefully, in a couple of months it looks better. … There’s another headline. ‘Hair transplant.’ There is no shame in that. I have a problem, I try to fix it. I’m not going to tell you who did it because I’m still waiting for it to get better.”
Cena added, “One of you sons of b—– could’ve pulled me to the side. In unison, you chant and make me feel small and you embarrass me. Y’all don’t know what that’s like. That is straight-up bullying and that’s just not cool. So thank you for bullying me into getting surgical hair replacement.”
