John Daly was forced to pull out of his latest PGA Champions Tour event after injuring himself in the second round of play. The golfer’s absence wouldn’t be prolonged.

On Tuesday, a photo of Daly in Morocco resurfaced signaling his return for the upcoming Hassan II Golf Trophy event at Royal Golf Dar Es Salem.

It offered a stark contrast to his weekend exit, which ended with an image of him wincing in pain due to that left hand setback.

“Unfortunately, I had to WD yesterday for osteoarthritis in my left hand after my 2nd shot on 6 hitting the hard ground causing a flare up,” he posted for followers on his X timeline. “Hoping to get through next 4 months after injections.”

While he noted that the withdrawal was necessary, he refused to let the injury keep him sidelined for an extended period of time.

“On to Morocco,” he ended that message, solidifying his intent to play through the pain.

Just a few days later, he’s held up his end of the bargain!

The Champions Tour posted a photo of John Daly walking with camels through the countryside ahead of the upcoming tournament.

While the actual photo appears old, the message remains the same. He’s back!

It’s not the typical pack of camels Daly would typically be associated with! The hilarious visual shows the golfer shepherding the group in a Moroccan kaftan and a pair of Arkansas Razorback flip flops.

The self-anointed camel tamer!

Daly’s debut tournament at the Chubb Classic didn’t go according to plan, but he’s ready to move forward. Here’s to hoping his time in Morocco goes much smoother!
