The Baltimore Ravens have a pivotal offseason ahead as all eyes are on the relationship between the organization and Lamar Jackson.

Nobody is sure how it will play out. However, it sure sounds like John Harbaugh has an idea.

During a press conference with the media, the Ravens’ head coach reiterates how much he wants Lamar Jackson to be the starting quarterback for this franchise. He was asked point blank if Jackson will be the future quarterback in Baltimore. John Harbaugh boasted confidence after answering with, “100%… 200%… Lamar Jackson is our quarterback.”

Harbaugh’s full response makes it sound like the Ravens are going to do everything to keep Jackson on the team for the long term. Even so, the front office has yet to pay its superstar quarterback. Additionally, it’s speculated the team could possibly use the franchise tag on him in the offseason.

For now, though, Ravens fans are following the old saying “actions speak louder than words.” Many of them want Lamar Jackson to be the long-term quarterback, and rightfully so. He’s been a superstar since taking over as the starter.

Maybe an agreement will be reached this time around.

If Baltimore doesn’t pay Jackson, then someone else will. Even so, the Ravens aren’t likely to just let him walk in free agency. So, the remainder of the offseason will be interesting, as the franchise will either pay him or trade him after giving him a franchise tag.
