With just 1 week left of the NFL regular season, there is absolutely nothing settled in the AFC playoff picture.

The top seed in the conference is still up for grabs, 2 divisions are still in play, and there isn’t one team that knows what seed they will have in the playoffs yet.

One team who currently finds themselves as a part of the uncertainty is the Baltimore Ravens. They currently hold a 10-6 record, which haas them holding the 6th spot in the AFC because they lose a tie-breaker with the Los Angeles Chargers.

However, with a win and a Chargers loss, they would move up to the 5th spot and could even claim the AFC North title and the 3-seed with a win and a Bengals loss if their game against the Buffalo Bills is rescheduled.

Unfortunately, they’ll have to be a the Bengals without Lamar Jackson for that to happen. to make matters worse, they may not even have him for the playoffs.

Coach John Harbaugh was asked today about whether Jackson would be ready for the postseason and his answer has fans wondering about Lamar Jackson’s future.

I’m just going to leave all that stuff alone and focus on the game. Just get ready to coach our guys and have the guys ready for the game.

Jackson and the Ravens were involved in one of the NFL’s most important contract negotiations this year. Surprisingly, those negotiations didn’t end with Jackson signing an extension with the team.

Now fans are starting to believe that Jackson could be proceeding more cautiously with his injury because he doesn’t have a contract for next season.

If that’s the case, the Baltimore Ravens are going to be facing an uphill battle during the playoffs.
