Former NFL QB Johnny Manziel and Internet personality Bob Menery duked it out in the MMA cage at Adin Ross’ Brand Risk event in Las Vegas.
The event was hosted at the Meta Apex by UFC’s Dana White, who has a history of beefing with Menery, and even put up $10k that Menery would not show up to the fight.

Unfortunately for Menery, Manziel was able to take him down and mount him in less than a minute, and the fight had to be stopped due to Menery not being able to defend himself from Manziel’s strikes.

UFC champion Sean Strickland, who was a commentator at the event, felt ashamed at what he had seen.

After the fight, Menery, who was sporting bruises on his face, complained about the stoppage on social media.
“I lost 10-8 that round there’s 37 seconds left I was not hurt i’m talking to the refs Ii’m getting
hit in the face on the ground okay as Johnny’s exerting all his energy I’m talking to the ref saying don’t stop this i’m fine don’t stop it you can hear me saying i’m saying it he stops the fight with 33 seconds left the main event during an mma event okay that we’re supposed to be MMA”
