Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya might be friendly these days, but the UFC heavyweight champ isn’t comfortable with Izzy’s trash talk with Dricus Du Plessis.

Back at UFC 290, Adesanya went on a N-word-filled rant inside the cage directed at Du Plessis.

During a recent appearance on the Kanpai Pandas Overdogs podcast, Jones said he was uncomfortable with Adesanya’s trash talk.

“I don’t want to talk sh-t, because Izzy and I have become friends and whatever,”

“But I was uncomfortable. As a black man, I was uncomfortable my damn self. That was just weird.”

Jones went on to predict Adesanya will win his current fight against Sean Strickland.

“I got Izzy winning just because he’s more versatile,” Jones said. “He does everything that Sean does, just way more calculated.”

“Izzy could beat Strickland in a boxing match if he had to,” Jones said. “I think he’s more calculated, and I think his power is a few steps up above Strickland as well.”
