Jorge Masvidal is expecting fireworks for the main event of his upcoming GameBred Bareknuckle MMA card on Saturday March 2nd, live from the Kia Center in Orlando.
On March 2nd, Alan Belcher plans to extend his ten-fight win streak that includes wins in boxing, bare-knuckle boxing, and bare-knuckle MMA while going against former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos.
We spoke with Masvidal ahead of his promotion’s big event, and he’s confident that despite all the strategy the two fighters will try to employ in the match, they will both end up finding themselves in the middle of the cage and throwing haymakers at each other.
“I think at one point because I know they’re attitudes and I know they’re competitive guys, at some point they’re going to meet in the middle and f— throw down, all that strategy is going to go out the window and these guys are just going to f—- hurt each other, Obviously with the skill and technique that that they’ve possessed…I think these guys are going to put on a fight of the year, fight of the century type sh–”
Saturday’s GameBred Bareknuckle MMA card will feature 11 former UFC fighters including several recognizable names like Anthony Njokuan, Chase Sherman, and Maurice Greene.
