As we’ve seen plenty of times before when two intense UFC fighters are anywhere within 10 feet of each other, things can get pretty dicey—and shit nearly got out of hand today between Jose Also and Conor McGregor.
With both on stage during the press conference for UFC’s “Go Big” event, Aldo leaned in a little bit too far, nearly head-butting McGregor, which the Interim Featherweight Champ didn’t find too amusing, forcing UFC Prez Dana White to separate the guys.
The two have had a longstanding rivalry, so the near fisticuffs aren’t something new for fans to see, but at least it was harnessed—at least for now—as Aldo and McGregor are scheduled to be in the Octagon together at UFC 194 on December 12th.
I’ve got a feeling they’re going to be just a little intense for that brawl.
