Justin Fields Appears To Have Pissed Bears Fans Off With Latest Comments Following Another Loss To The Packers

Justin Fields isn’t the most popular person in Chicago following the Bears’ 27-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The quarterback completed just seven passes for 70 yards in the defeat while throwing a pick, too. He was also stopped short on a critical fourth-and-goal play that had many fans upset after the game.

When all was said and done, Chicago dropped its seventh straight game in the series, and its 17th in the last 20 meetings with Green Bay. As if that wasn’t enough to set Bears fans off, some interesting postgame comments from signal caller rubbed supporters the wrong way.

Bears fans react to Justin Fields’ postgame comments

Fields spoke on the loss and its impact on the team in the locker room. He kind of called out Chicago fans with his comments.

“It hurts more in the locker room than to Bears fans, obviously. At the end of the day, they’re not putting in any work. I see the guys in the locker room every day. I see how much work the put in.”

He has a point, to an extent. Yes, the fans aren’t on the field, and they’re not preparing week in and week out for competition. But fans, particularly those in Chicago, take pride in the support they give to their sports teams.

They live, breathe, and die Bears football. To say that they aren’t hurting as much as the team didn’t sit well with many.

This fan posted the interview along with a caption reading, “This loss hurts for Bears fans just as much as the players. Players come and go. Fans are here forever. We put in the work watching a crumb bum franchise that has given us NOTHING in 37 years. We buy your jerseys, we put the butts in the stands. You’re on thin ice pal”

Another fan wrote, “Justin Fields endearing himself to Bears fans.”

This NFL viewer said, “Justin Fields hates Chicago and Bears fans… Yikes!”

He probably wishes he could have those words back.
