Kansas Players Refuse To Shake Baker Mayfield’s Hand Before Game, Mayfield Trolls Them By Telling To ‘Stick To Basketball’ After TD

Heisman trophy frontrunner Baker Mayfield has solidified himself as one of the best shit talkers in college football history.

Throughout the college football season, the controversial QB has gone out of his way to taunt and troll his opponents. Mayfield previously planted a flag in the middle of Ohio State’s field, hilariously called out Baylor players before game and also talked trash to the entire TCU team before last week’s game. Today, the controversial Sooners QB appeared to get a little taste of his own medicine and he didn’t take it so well.

Before today’s game against Kansas, Mayfield went shake hands with the Jayhawks captains during the coin toss when they snubbed him by completely ignoring his request.

Mayfield appeared to get heated after the snub and confronted one of the Jayhawks players on the field after the coin toss which led to a referee having to interfere.

So, Mayfield and a Kansas player went helmet to helmet after the coin toss. A ref had to run in from the sideline to separate them. And no, I’m not kidding about this.

.

Not sure it’s an entirely great idea for a 1-9 Kansas team to piss off one of the best QB’s in the country but so far the Jayhawks have only given up fourteen points in the first half of the game.

While Mayfield has definitely been a dick to other teams this season, college football is going to be boring once he decides to go pro.

Update: Mayfield has been spending the entire day talking trash to Kansas players and fans.
