Kay Adams Surprised The Manning Brothers With A Quarterzip That She Acquired Just Hours Prior

ESPN/Omaha Productions

Ever since the Manningcast debuted in 2021, it’s become known for a handful of things: quality quarterbacking insights, banter between Peyton and Eli Manning, occasionally awkward interviews, and blue quarterzips.

A staple of the economic class that Peyton and Eli occupy (Wall Street drones, SEC alumni, frequent golfers, etc.), the quarterzip has become such an integral part of the Manningcast that NFL media personality Kay Adams showed up to her appearance on the program wearing one herself.

Not only was Adams rocking a quarterzip, but she only got her hands on it earlier that day, as she tweeted “omg someone postmates me a blue quarter zip” at 8:16 p.m., which is when the Monday Night Football game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Adams was on the broadcast for one of the most exciting moments of the game as she was live for Ja’Marr Chase’s 76-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter.

While the Manningcast is often a welcome distraction from the sometimes subpar Monday Night Football game between played, that was certainly not the case between the Jags and Bengals, as the Bengals won by a score of 34-31 in overtime.

Adams was the second guest of the night on the Manningcast, as she was preceded by Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and was followed by former Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson (Ocohcinco).

Monday night’s Manningcast for the Jags-Bengals game is the third-to-last of the season, as the duo will also go live for the Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles game during Week 15, and for ESPN’s Wild Card Weekend game.

Interestingly enough, the Week 15 Manningcast was actually supposed to be for the Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots game, but the Pats are so terrible that the matchup was flexed out of the Monday Night Football slot.
