Texas A&M will face Keisei Tominaga and Nebraska during the First Round of March Madness on Friday. Aggies forward Solomon Washington set himself up for great embarrassment prior to tipoff.

He mocked the Cornhuskers’ star player and it was caught on camera.

Tominaga, who is often referred to as the Japanese Steph Curry, is the most electric player in this year’s NCAA Tournament. His ability to pull up from the parking lot is only a small part of what makes him so exciting. The Japanese-born point guard is not afraid to let an opponent know that he just drained a triple in his face.

Tominaga’s signature celebration took the college basketball world by storm!

This is where Washington comes into the picture.

He joined Texas A&M for practice ahead of Friday’s opening round game and mimicked Tominaga’s celebration. The mockery appeared to be inspired by head coach Buzz Williams’ son.

Washington joined in on the fun.

However, it will not be so fun if Tominaga uses the ridicule as motivation. Poking the bear is always a bad idea. Washington poked the bear.

Not long after Texas A&M wrapped things up, Nebraska took the court for its first NCAA Tournament practice. Tominaga knocked down a no-look half court shot from over his head. He’s dialed!

Although there is a large contingency of basketball fans and analysts who consider the Aggies to be a sleeper team, they must first go through the Cornhuskers. More importantly, they much go through Keisei Tominaga.

If he’s hitting half-court shots before seeing the video Washington’s taunt, he is going to be even more locked-in come game time. This could be very embarrassing for Texas A&M— especially considering that Washington averages just 7.6 points per game in 24.4 minutes. He might have made a big mistake!
