Even Kelly Clarkson, of all people, is tired of the NFL’s fawning over Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce during broadcasts.

“It’s not hilarious how it is literally taking over the NFL for people that like watching sports now,” Clarkson, a big NFL fan, told Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang during Friday’s episode of her talk show.

“It’s like you’re watching Housewives while you’re watching.

“They’re just talking about gossip things and you’re like, ‘so what about the play?’

“But they’re taking over.”

After getting that out of the way, Kelly Clarkson and Yang then discussed how strange it was for Swift and Kelce to just randomly appear on Saturday Night Live last weekend.

“It was so wild. We didn’t expect them to come,” Yang told Clarkson. “I round the corner, they’re at the page desk and it’s like, I’m like, ‘Oh, there’s two of the tallest people I’ve ever seen. Who are they? Who is that?’

“And then I was like, ‘Oh, my goodness, wow, it’s them! Okay, they’re here,’ and it was wild.”

A previous report said no one related to Saturday Night Live had any idea Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were coming to the show until just minutes before it went live.

“The second [Kelce] walked in, they mentioned the sketch and he said he was happy to join,” an insider told Variety. “They were happy to jump into some parts of the show when asked.”

The sketch the insider was referring to was the a parody of Fox NFL Sunday doing exactly what Kelly Clarkson was complaining about in real life.

Later in the show, Taylor Swift appeared on the show for about three seconds when she introduced one of the songs being sung by one of her friends, and that night’s musical guest, Ice Spice.

Unfortunately for Kelly Clarkson, and any other fans who are tired of seeing Taylor Swift on their TV screens when the Kansas City Chiefs play, it sounds like they’re just going to have to learn how to deal with it.
