This week on an episode of her podcast, The Morning After, Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly told a hilarious story about she got a boob job, that she paid for, right after Matthew began playing for the Detroit Lions in the NFL.
“I saved up a ton of money,” Stafford explained. “I did some stuff in high school. I worked in high school, birthday money, you know, all that stuff. Saved it all.
“I dressed so terribly. I wasn’t buying clothes, like that wasn’t my thing. Again, still not really my thing.
“I went and got a boob job,” Kelly continued. “And Matthew was totally against this. He was like, ‘Do not do it. Please don’t do it.’ And I was like, “Listen, love you, but I’ve wanted this for a long time and this is about me, not about you.
“Went and got it… y’all… it was the worst boob job you have ever… it was two balloons on my chest. It was so, so bad.”
Kelly Stafford was very upset that the Detroit media said Matthew paid for her boob job
“And what’s worse is the Detroit media realized and started saying that Matthew paid for a boob job for his girlfriend,” she complained.
“And immediately I was like, ‘Hold on now! I paid for it myself! I bought these boobs, one, and two, if he would have bought them they would have been far better. So, clearly he did not buy these.'”
“It was a student discount, it was everything,” Kelly continued. “It was so… oh my God it was so bad. I was massive.
“I’ve since then had children and that has helped, but I have also gotten them after my, you know, kids. I was done having kids, got them. I needed to because it had been 10 years.”
Kelly went on to say that after only a couple of months she was like, “These suck.”
“A year later I went back in and said, ‘Yo.’ So he went in and just like deflated them a little bit?”
She says after her initial boob job Matthew was “mortified,” but he would never have told her that then.
Kelly then goes back to being mad at the Detroit media for saying he bought them.
She also shared how her very first trip with Matthew after the boob job was a family wedding in the Bahamas. That too was quite a tale. Listen to it all below.
