A member of John Calipari’s basketball staff at the University of Kentucky was charged with DUI after police found him in his car covered in vomit this week.
The Lexington Police Department reported that Chris Woolard, the University of Kentucky’s associate athletics director for basketball operations, was found in his car, which was resting on the sidewalk next to a fence, still in gear.
Police said Woolard, who is in his twelfth season in the position at UK, was covered in vomit and they could smell alcohol when they found him.
He was given a sobriety test then was arrested and charged with a driving under the influence.
Woolard is also the executive director for the Calipari Foundation, reports WHAS News.

College basketball and University of Kentucky fans on Twitter were typically sympathetic
It’s a common thing over there, go to the bar, get hammered, call the sister and say “I’m cummin over!”

“We are aware of the situation and we are handling the matter internally,” a University of Kentucky representative told WHAS News.
That will be handled internally too

It is somewhat of a tradition when it comes to people associated with the UK basketball program.
Poor Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari already had his hands full dealing with members of the Wildcats’ athletic department after pissing off Mark Stoops when he took shots at the university’s football team. Now he’s got to handle this?
At least, hopefully, he isn’t having to deal with giraffe pee anymore.
