Kevin Durant Likes Instagram Post That Takes Shot At Russell Westbrook

It seemed like Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook had finally made up and were cool with each other after a turbulent year following KD’s departure from OKC. During the All-Star break both Westbrook and Durant talked about their relationship and on how they both let get things out of hand in the media.

“I feel like I just made (the drama with Westbrook) a thing when it shouldn’t have been,” Durant said during All-Star Media Day on Saturday when asked where he and his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate stand. “It’s cool to kind of get past that and appreciate these guys for who they are, what they do. It’s all love at the end of the day.”

Westbrook — whose media availability at the Los Angeles Convention Center took place at the same time as Durant’s, just four interview pods down — expressed similar sentiments.

“It’s been fine, it’s been normal,” Westbrook said when asked what it’s been like to be around Durant again. “Communicating, that’s about it. All the other stuff is kind of irrelevant. Just keeping it cool, talk when we need to and just moving forward.”

Today, KD may have reignited his beef with Russ after he liked an Instagram post that slams Westbrook for being the “problem” when both players played together in OKC.

Hopefully the Thunder and the Warriors somehow meet in the Western Conference Finals because that would be amazing.

Update: Kevin Durant says liking the Westbrook post was just an accident.
