Things aren’t looking good for the Golden State Warriors.

Last night the Warriors lost at home and are now down 3-1 to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA finals and it doesn’t look like Kevin Durant will be coming back any time soon.

According to a report from ESPN’s Brian Windhorst Durant attempted to practice before game 4 of the NBA finals and his body just “wasn’t ready”.

This team I really do believe think that he was going to practice [Thursday] and play [Friday]. And when he wasn’t able to do that, it was a setback,” . “Durant just isn’t ready. His body is not ready. The trainers don’t believe, he doesn’t believe it. He tried to do some stuff in practice [Thursday], it didn’t work.”

Jalen Rose also chimed on the situation and says he heard that Durant’s workout did not go well at all.

“I’m really familiar with the setup, [the] workout that KD had yesterday with the team… I’m gonna tell you guys,” Rose said. “It didn’t go well on any level.”
“I went from being a guy that thought he may come back later in the series,” Rose continued. “Now I feel like he might not come back at all.”

Coach Steve Kerr has stopped providing updates to the media and says he still believes Durant will play this series.

We’re hoping Durant can play Game 5 or 6,’’ K “And everything in between I’ve decided I’m not sharing because it’s just gone haywire. There’s so much going on, and so it doesn’t make sense to continue to talk about it. He’s either going to play or he’s not.”

None of this sounds promising for the Warriors
