Sometimes in sports things are just going your way, and sometimes it doesn’t matter what you do, you’ve just got no chance.
Such was the case in the video you see below shared to Twitter by @BullsAttitude22.
With the clock winding down during a youth basketball game one of the kids ran into a little trouble trying to get a shot off to beat the buzzer so, being a kid, he just throws up a backwards, no-look-30-foot shot and… splash, it hits nothing but the bottom of the net.
But wait, before you watch the magic happen, I just want to make sure you keep your eyes focused on the referee as the kid sinks the impossible shot.
If that poor, completely nonplussed youth basketball referee doesn’t deserve to be turned into a glorious meme by the internet then I don’t know what does. Here, let me get it started.
