Friday night, the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Sacramento Kings in the first game for both teams since the NBA All-Star Break. And, you don’t need the letter D to spell either of those teams, nor was their any of it in the contest.

The Clippers and Kings combined for an astronomical 351 points, as the Kings beat the Clips, 176-175 in double overtime. It is the 2nd most points in NBA history.

The box score is mind-blowing. De’Aaron Fox had 42 and Malik Monk had 45 for the Kings. For the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were excellent. They had 44 and 34 points, respectively.

Monk also hit this game-tying three.

Kawhi was especially fantastic, as he was a remarkable 16-22 from the field including 6-9 from the three-point line. And, Russell Westbrook made his LAC debut with a fantastic 17 points and 14 assists on 7-13 shooting.

NBA Twitter was full of reactions from the game.

Hopefully these teams start playing more defense soon.
