Kobe Bryant has a real issue with new teammate Larry Nance Jr. but it’s not the one you’d think. After an old tweet referring to Bryant as a “rapist” caused all sorts of trouble last week, Bryant was asked to weigh in on the situation during an interview with ESPN’s Jemele Hill.
The future Hall of Fame admitted his real problem is that Nance called him “sir.” You know, because Kobe is old.
Preferring to be called a rapist over an insinuation that you’re aging is a sign you’ve lived a unique life. Give credit to Bryant, though, for diffusing the situation with humor. Not an easy accomplishment considering the obstacles.
