Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Kobie Turner was selected in the third round of the Draft last April. He made 45 tackles and nine sacks in 17 games during an impressive rookie season in the NFL.

However, his on-field play is not the only thing defines him!

Turner is a man of many talents and, by all accounts, the nicest dude in the world. The 6-foot-2, 288-pound 24-year-old graduated from Wake Forest after three years at Richmond so he’s wicked smart.

And he can sing!

His rendition of Chris Stapleton’s Tennessee Whiskey went viral back during training camp.

It’s not just a hobby, Turner has been doing this for awhile. They call him ‘The Conductor’ because he ran three different A capella groups in high school.

His sack celebration is an homage to his nickname.

You get the idea. Turner is a tremendous vocalist.

Thus, when the Los Angeles Kings held ‘Rams Night’ on Monday, there was only one choice for the national anthem. It was a no-brainer.

Shortly after both teams took the ice, Turner brought the house down. Formerly known as Staples Center went wild for their defensive star.

It is simply impossible to dislike The Conductor. Even if you’re a Saints fan and hate his ability to torment offensive linemen on a weekly basis, you can’t help but appreciate Turner’s kind demeanor and off-the-field talent.

Puka Nacua and Steve Avila were also in the house for the game, with the former taking a ride on the zamboni, but neither of the other rookies could outshine their defensive counterpart. Kobie Turner is a special talent on the gridiron and the Rams got a good one.

If the whole football thing somehow doesn’t work out, or perhaps in retirement, he also has a bright future ahead of him as a vocalist!
