Koenigsegg Supercar Goes Zero To 249 MPH And Back To Zero In Only 36 Seconds

Koenigsegg Agera RS 0 400 Record Run

Koenigsegg / YouTube

The Koenigsegg Agera RS is a supercar which ranks amongst the fastest cars ever built. The Koenigsegg One:1 currently holds the world record for fastest time from 0-to-186 MPH, but the Koenigsegg Agera RS goes a hell of a lot faster than that as you can see below.

The 0-400-0 record set by this Koenigsegg Agera RS was part of an effort to beat a recent record set by the Bugatti Chiron. It was only last month that the Bugatti Chiron set the 0-400-0 record at 41.96 seconds, but the Koenigsegg Agera RS absolutely demolished that record by 5 seconds. A margin of victory you almost NEVER see when it comes to speed records such as this.

This video was filmed back on October 1st at an airfield in Vandel, Denmark. In this speed trial we see the Koenigsegg Agera RS go from 0 to 249 MPH (400km/h) in just 36.44 seconds. This is a milestone that gearheads everywhere can appreciate. The amount of force pushing down on that car as it reaches over 200 MPH is simply mind-boggling.
