Kyler Murray’s Height Being Seriously Questioned Again Based On The NFL’s Rookie Class Photo

Kyler Murray Height Being Questioned After NFL Rookie Class Photo

Until new Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback Kyler Murray proves that his height will not be an impediment to success in the NFL, the conspiracy theorists are going to keep claiming that he isn’t even as tall as the 5-foot-10 (and an eighth!) he reportedly mesaured at the NFL combine.

After turning down a truckload of money to play baseball for the Oakland A’s, sports fans are not going to let Murray rest until he proves that he made the right decision in choosing to play quarterback in the NFL despite his diminutive stature.

Further fueling speculation is a new photo of the NFL’s rookie class in which Murray, the number one overall pick, appears to be smaller than other players who were reportedly measured at 5-foot-10 and 5-foot-9.

The fact that Murray has only let his height be measured once, despite all the speculation, hasn’t helped quell the whispers that he is shorter than claimed.

The rookie class photo certainly isn’t definitive. It appears that Murray is standing more forward in the photo than his former Sooners teammate Marquise Brown, who is listed at 5-foot-9, which could make him look taller depending on the angle, yet he still looks shorter than Brown.

Naturally, as they always do, fans on Twitter had thoughts.
