Kyler Murray made his return to the football field on Sunday, and he didn’t disappoint. The quarterback led the Cardinals to a come-from-behind win over the Falcons, stunning viewers with his athleticism in the debut.

One particular play on the game-winning drive has now gone viral, and it capped an incredible performance.

Murray looked like his typical self this weekend, running around defenders and creating plays with both his feet and arm. You wouldn’t believe he was just getting back from an ACL injury that kept him sidelined for the first half of the season.

There wasn’t much rust to shake as the signal caller totaled nearly 300 yards.

Murray dropped a few dimes, most notably this dot to tight end Trey McBride. On the day, he completed 19-of-32 attempts for 249 yards.

But the former first-round pick was even more deadly with his legs.

Murray scored his first touchdown of the season in the second quarter, rushing for a six-yard score to put his team up 14-12 just before the halftime break.

He bested that run with more heroics in the fourth quarter of play.

Trailing 23-22, Arizona took over on its final drive looking to land a win. And do so, they would.

Kyler Murray wows with incredible 4th quarter scramble.

Kyler Murray had the most impressive moment of that possession, scrambling for 13 yards and a first down on a key third-and-10 play. The run not only kept the drive alive, but it moved the Cardinals into Atlanta territory.

Arizona looked destined for a sack, but Murray got creative, eluding defenders and reversing his course to find an open lane.

A few plays later, he’d find McBride again to set the Cardinals up in the redzone. Arizona then kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired.

The result was huge for a Cardinals team looking for a spark. Entering the game at just 1-8, Arizona is hoping to somewhat salvage the season.

The playoffs are a longshot, but building momentum and confidence for their young passer is still attainable.

McBride said as much after the game, emphasizing how important it was to perform for Murray in his return.

“We were coming into this game with a lot of confidence,” the tight end said. “We knew this was a good game for us, Kyler’s coming back, and we’re playing at home. We were all juiced up and excited, and we wanted to play good for him.”

The Cardinals will look to build on this win next week when they play the Texans.
