On Sunday, the Brooklyn Nets shook up the NBA world by finally getting rid of Kyrie Irving and trading him to the Dallas Mavericks.

Kyrie’s trade to the Mavericks brought an end to his painful tenure in Brooklyn, which saw the controversial point guard seemingly create one controversy after another.

Now that the notorious team chemistry-corrupting point guard has made his way to yet another franchise, the NBA world has been dishing out tons of memes about Irving in his new home of Dallas, Texas.

One of the most popular variations of the joke sees Kyrie taking a deep dive into the assassination of JFK:

The memes about Kyrie’s potential Dallas-based “discoveries” is yet another reminder that NBA Twitter is truly the best.

Who knows, maybe Kyrie will be the one to get to the bottom of JFK’s death after all.

JFK jokes aren’t the only ones being cracked about Kyrie’s trade to Dallas, as there have also been tons of memes about the potential relationship between Irving and the Mavs’ MVP-contender and franchise cornerstone Luka Doncic.

Given that Irving and Luka are two of the most isolation-heavy stars in the league, it’ll certainly be interesting to see how their skill sets mesh and how their relationship grows.

According to reports, the 30-year-old Irving — who will be an unrestricted free agent this summer — will make his debut for the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. At this time, the Mavs are sixth in the NBA’s Western Conference with a 28-26 record.

Following his trade to Dallas, Irving took to Twitter to post a seemingly celebratory message as he said he’s going to be “pouring libations for all of the ancestors and the universe.”
