Kyrie Irving has been suspended for declining to apologize for sharing an antisemitic movie on social media.

Last week, Irving started a firestorm when he shared a link to a movie on Amazon called Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America!.

During the Nets media session on Thursday, Irving was asked whether he holds anti-Semitic beliefs and answered by saying, “I cannot be anti-Semitic if I know where I come from,” he said.

The answer appeared to irk the Nets, who suspended Irving without pay for at least five games, which could cost him $2 million in lost salary.
