Peyton Manning’s days in Denver are numbered. It’s doubtful that the Broncos would choose to stick with the aging gunslinger for another year when they have a young quarterback in Brock Osweiler that seems competent enough to lead the Broncos offense to the postseason.
But what if Peyton was offered an opportunity to run the offense for another team? Would he turn it down?
ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the LA Rams are having internal discussions on whether they should go after Manning in the offseason, if Peyton decided that he wants to stay around a bit longer.
The Rams don’t have much to lose here. It seems like they’ve already decided that they don’t want to draft a QB this year and the other options are RG3 and Johnny Manziel.
The Rams also need to sell tickets in their return to LA next season and there’s no bigger star in the NFL than Peyton Manning.
